We are pleased to offer you the convenience of online shopping. Please review the general conditions of use of this website. Your use of this site by accessing, browsing or using this site in anyway, is acceptance of your agreement with these terms, conditions and disclaimers. Changes to this Policy
Blooms flowers reserve the right to change or amend these terms and conditions at any time without notice. As any amendment is effective immediately, please check this page periodically for any changes.
Your continued use of our site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes. Information collected prior to the time any change is posted will be used according to the rules and laws that applied at the time the information was collected.
Returns and refunds
Blooms Flowers goes to great lengths to source the very best local South Australian product for our customers. Our reputation is known for it and depends on it. However, we are dealing with an organic product and on rare occasions this product may not meet expectations. There could be a couple of reasons for this
- Caused by weather conditions on crops and due to the quick turnaround from the farm to your door, it may not be visible or become evident for a day or two.
- The product may not be available within South Australia, causing us to purchase interstate Australian product which may not meet the same expectations as our South Australian produce.
- The product may not be available within South Australia, causing us to purchase imported product which under goes treatment upon entering the country beyond our control.
You can generally expect your flowers to last from 4 -7 days depending on the variety of flowers and provided they are cared for correctly.
7 main steps will help your flowers to last as long as possible:
- Ensure that the vase you use is clean and filled with fresh water
- Stems should be cut on an angle as soon as you receive the flowers
- Always keep an eye on the water levels and change the water completely every two days
- Keep your flowers out of direct sunlight
- Keep your flowers away from fruit
- Keep your flowers away from drafts and air-conditioning
- Do not put older flowers you already have from another vase in with your new flowers
If you feel your flowers have not lasted as expected please let us know within 3 days by emailing [email protected] or calling +61 8 8362 4904. Once we are confident that they have been cared for as recommended, we will happily replace the flowers.
Please note that we reserve the right to request photos of the product(s) and return of the supplied order at the same time as we deliver the replacements, for this ensures we give our growers valuable feedback to ensure the quality of future crops.
We are always available on +61 8 8362 4904 to answer any of your concerns or questions regarding how to care for your flowers.
At its discretion, Blooms Flowers will accept cancellation requests received within a minimum of 1 business day prior to the scheduled delivery date. Orders cancelled outside of 24 hours of the requested delivery time will incur a $10.00 administration charge. Alternatively the customer may opt for a gift voucher to the full value of the order if they wish to avoid cancellation fees. Please contact us on 08 8326 4904 to discuss your options.
Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice
We do not offer refunds on orders cancelled within 24 hours of the delivery bracket/date. Any order cancelled within 24 hours up to 8 hours prior to the delivery bracket/date, will receive a gift voucher to the value of the order, less the $10.00 administration fee.
Cancellations with less than 8 hours notice
Blooms Flowers are unable to cancel orders within 8 hours of the delivery bracket/date. Providing the order has not already been dispatched, for delivery from our studio, you may give us an alternative delivery recipient and address. Administration charge of $10.00 will apply and any additional delivery charges that may apply and are required to be paid prior to the changes taking effect.
Cancellations of special orders.
Where the order entails Blooms Flowers having obtained a product outside of usual supply for a special order or request, a cancellation fee may be charged at the discretion of Blooms Flowers.
Where a cancellation has been authorised the amount will be refunded within 5 to 7 working days, or at the discretion of the customer’s bank/ financial institution.
Refunds will be made back to the customer in the same form that was used for the original purchase.
Alterations and Amendments to Orders
We are unable to provide any alternations or amendments to orders that are in the process of being prepared, already prepared and /or in transit. Alterations to your order must be received no later than 24 hours prior to delivery bracket/date.
A change in delivery address or change in recipient is the only amendment to your order that will be accepted, providing the order has not already been dispatched for delivery from our studio. These changes will incur an additional $10.00 service charge and any additional delivery charges that may apply and are required to be paid prior to the changes taking effect.
No Cash or credit refunds will be made for alterations or amendments made by the customer, that result in a value less than the original order cost.
Blooms Flowers reserve the right to refuse alterations and amendments to an order.
Alterations and Amendments Disclaimer:
During special events including but not limited to, Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas deliveries, all orders are final and Blooms Flowers reserves the right to not accept any alterations, amendments or cancellations of any order already placed.
By using our delivery service, you agree to let our drivers use their best professional judgment as to whether or not the flowers can be safely left at the delivery address should no one be there to receive them. We can hold no liability for the flowers from this point on.
Blooms Flowers guarantee same day delivery for all orders required for metropolitan delivery, received before 1pm and made for dispatch before 2pm.
Deliveries are dispatched between 9 am and 3:30pm Monday to Friday (for delivery before 5pm to businesses and 7pm for residential addresses), and between 9am and 1pm Saturdays (for delivery before 5pm).
Prior to checkout, Blooms Flowers agrees to quote and/or display the delivery fee that will be incurred for your order.
Delivery fees are based on the kilometres between our studio and your requested order destination.
Additional surcharges may apply for additional delivery service requests, such as restricted delivery times etc.
What happens if no one is at home /work or has been discharged from hospital?
For residential addresses, providing the courier has access to the front door or a safe location to leave the flowers, our courier will leave your order, in a water source if required. A calling card will be left advising the recipient as to when the delivery was made and the location of where your order has been left.
If the courier deems the residential address to be inaccessible (locked gates, unrestrained dogs), or an inability to leave the flowers in a safe place out of the weather or in an inconspicuous place, the order will be returned to our store. In this event, an attempted delivery calling card will be left, advising that the recipient will be required to contact our store.
For work address, if the recipient has left work for the day prior to the order arriving, the courier has the discretion to leave the flowers at the work address if the recipient is due to return to work the following day.
For discharges from hospital, we will contact the sender for alternative details and you will be offered o collect the flowers from in store, or purchase a redelivery to a new address. The redelivery will be required to be paid before redelivery can occur.
Orders with alcohol cannot be left unattended. Should no one be at the delivery address to sign for the order, the order will be returned to the studio and a redelivery fee will apply.
Proof of delivery
Blooms Flowers currently does not provide a track and trace service nor guarantee an exact time of delivery, unless otherwise requested, but can provide an estimated time of arrival once products are in transit for delivery.
Proof of delivery is available, upon request for up to one month after the delivery of your order.
For hospitals, schools, and business where a security person, reception or concierge is obligated to receive the flowers on the recipient’s behalf, we cannot accept responsibility for the flowers from this point on.
If a delivery has been attempted unsuccessfully and requires a second or subsequent delivery to be made (e.g. You have provided us with an incorrect address or no one is home during your selected delivery time and there is no safe place to leave the order) a redelivery fee will apply to the same value as the original delivery fee. You will be contacted before the arrangement is redelivered and given the option to pick the arrangement up from our store in Norwood. If Blooms Flowers is in any way responsible for the redelivery, this redelivery fee will not apply.
In the rare event that there has been an issue with delivering your order and we have been unable to reach you first, we reserve the right to call the recipient. At all times your details will be kept confidential.
Saturday deliveries must be received by 3:00pm Friday.
By using our delivery service on a Saturday you accept the flowers can be left without signature at the recipients address or with the nearest neighbour should the property be inaccessible or be an unsafe location to leave the flowers. We will leave a calling card if the flowers are left.
Saturday deliveries are dispatched between 9:00am and 1:00pm, for delivery by 5:00pm.
Please note that we do not deliver on Public Holidays.
Special Event Deliveries
Blooms Flowers may set different terms and conditions in relation to special occasions. These special occasions include but are not limited to Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and Christmas Deliveries. For these Terms and Conditions see our Delivery Policy. Any changes to these from time to time will be available online and will be effective immediately.
Blooms Flowers accepts no liability where incorrect, incomplete or superseded details have been provided by the customer. Or arising out of failure to contact a customer where the contact details were not supplied, were invalid or incorrect.
It is the customer’s obligation to provide Blooms Flowers with current and correct recipient delivery address and contact details.
Failure to provide the correct delivery details may result in incorrectly delivered goods, undelivered goods and additional redirect or redelivery fees.
Blooms Flowers accepts no liability for goods incorrectly delivered in accordance with your instructions, the product becomes the responsibility of the receiver or where goods are left at an incorrect address supplied by the customer.
Blooms Flowers accepts no liability for undelivered goods, where the customer has made no reasonable attempt to correct the address within a reasonable period of time,
Recipient Details and Personalised Messages
The customer must ensure that the recipient’s details, such as their name, address, including spelling, are correct. Blooms Flowers accepts no responsibility for any incorrect information, when such information results from a reliance on information provided by the customer.
In regards to our online orders, customers should ensure that their personalised message is written to their satisfaction. Blooms Flowers will accept no responsibility but will make every effort to ensure correct spelling, grammar or formatting of card messages and envelopes.
All pricing quoted, unless otherwise stated is in Australian Dollars (AU$) and includes GST.
Product prices do not include delivery fees.
Blooms Flowers endeavours to fulfil order s in compliance with product descriptions, however products, flower varieties and colours shown in the online shop are subject to seasonal and product availability. Our staff will always endeavour to match the product as shown, but should the product or flower not be available, they will substitute these with an equally product or attractive flower of equal or greater value. The same applies to vases and glassware.
For photographic purposes, vessels and other props maybe used for display purposes and are not included in the final product. The itemised product description available on the product page outlines the contents of final products.

The voucher is redeemable by the bearer for Blooms Flowers merchandise to the value stated on the front of the gift voucher.
The voucher is not valid after the expiry date as stated on the certificate and is not exchangeable, refundable, replaceable, or redeemable for cash, payment of accounts or other gift vouchers or discounts.
Blooms Flowers is not responsible or liable for the loss of vouchers that are lost, or stolen.
A limit of the use of one voucher per order applies and may only be redeemed either by website or in store. Partial deductions from a gift voucher are allowed and a record of the remaining value will be kept by Blooms Flowers until the expiration date of the voucher.
Blooms Flowers will not redeem a voucher if our records indicate that the voucher has already been redeemed or has not been issued.

Blooms Flowers retains personal information for the purpose to facilitate your requirements by ensuring your orders and enquiries are forwarded to the correct people and actioned in a timely manner. Personal data includes, but is not limited to; the full name of the customer and/or recipient, payment details, email address, recipient address, and contact phone numbers.
Blooms Flowers does not keep records of customer credit card details.
Blooms Flowers website may utilise cookies to store information of browsing history and to enable browsing features. We do not store any personal or financial information about customer cookies.
Customers can elect to receive promotional material by joining as a member and opting to receive plain text or HTML emails.
In compliance with Australian Law all marketing material will provide customers with an opportunity to opt-out of receiving future offers.

Upon completion of the event of force majeure Blooms flowers will, as soon as reasonably practicable,
Immediately notify the customer giving full particulars of the event of force majeure and the reasons for the event of force majeure that prevented, or delayed Blooms Flowers from, performing its obligations.
Once Blooms Flowers has made notification they will recommence the performance of its obligations of your order.
Blooms Flowers has no liability for: (a) any costs, losses, expenses, damages or the payment of any part of the order price during an event of force majeure (b) any delay costs in any way incurred by the customer due to an event of force majeure.
